Summer Job Seekers Can Pick Up Work In Sparta
An opportunity for teachers to pick up some extra work in a leadership role is an option this summer.
SPARTA, NJ - Teachers or others who are interested in working with children over the summer in a fun and exciting atmosphere are encouraged to apply for the Section Leader position through Sparta Recreation.
According to a Facebook Post from the group, the Sparta Township Parks & Recreation Department is hiring an individual for a leadership position at Camp Sacajawea, who will oversee both campers and counselors for the Day Camp program.
Pay is $15 per hour and applicants must be ages 21 and older, who are able to work for the duration of the season, which runs from July 6 to Aug. 13.

Candidates must also be “positive, energetic, responsible and have experience and leadership in working with children,” the post additionally states.
