New Jersey is racing towards the goal of getting to 4.7 million people vaccinated by the end of June, here is where Sussex County stands.

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ - The rate of COVID-19 vaccinations continues to increase in the Garden State as the much-maligned roll out continues. Officials also unveiled a vaccine tracker to keep current on how many full vaccinated residents are in New Jersey and next week the eligibility will open up further.
The New Jersey Department of Health has logged 6,310,065 vaccine doses administered as of 5 p.m. Thursday, including 3,923,202 who have received both doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine and 2,631,691 fully vaccinated people.
In Sussex County the breakdown is 97,321 doses administered which is segmented into 60,469 first doses and 40,043 second doses.

Governor Phil Murphy noted that even with the pause in usage with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, the overall goal of vaccinating 4.7 million adult New Jerseyans by the end of June remains in place and entirely achievable.
"As of today, doses of Johnson & Johnson have accounted for only 4 percent of the more than 5.6 million total vaccine doses administered in New Jersey," Murphy said last week.
