Major Blast Of Winter Air On The Way: Update On NJ Snow Chances

Ready or not, here comes winter. Here's what you can expect this week and next week.

NEW JERSEY — It will begin to feel a lot like ... January, in New Jersey, very soon.

Temperatures will drop 20 to 30 degrees in New Jersey on Thursday night and on Friday night as a strong cold front approaches the region, the National Weather Service says.

And, yes, there's even a chance for the first snowflakes of the season on Thursday night in the Sussex County area, the NWS says. But little to no accumulation is expected.
