Toy Sale to Benefit the Poor
A sale of new and gently-used toys will be held at Christ Church in Newton on Saturday, December 1st.
Christ Church Newton will sponsor a sale of new and gently-used toys on Saturday, December 1st, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the poor in the Central American country of Panama. Christ Church is located at 62 Main Street, at the intersection of Church Street and Route 206 in the heart of downtown Newton.
The Toy Sale will feature a wide variety of new and gently-used items for children and teens, including electronics, sports equipment, games, puzzles, craft supplies, books, computer and video games, dolls, cars and trucks, accessories, home furnishings and more. The sale will be held in the hall adjacent to the church.
The parish of Christ Church Newton maintains a companion relationship with the Diocese of Panama, with the goal of assisting the Central American diocese with the completion of building projects and supporting their ministry to the poor.
