Two Juveniles Killed in One-Car Crash

A total of four juveniles were inside the vehicle on Ironia Road Saturday afternoon in Randolph.

Two juveniles were killed in a single-car crash Saturday afternoon in Randolph Township, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.

Randolph Township police responded to the scene near 48 Ironia Road for a report of a single-car crash at 1:35 p.m., and found four juvenile passengers in the vehicle, Knapp said. Two of them sustained fatal injuries, Knapp said.

An investigation is ongoing, and no more details are being released Saturday, Knapp said.

Law enforcement officers from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, the Township of Randolph Police Department, and the Morris County Sherriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section assisted at the scene. The township of Randolph Fire Department also participated in life saving and recovery.
