4 New Murals Could Come To Jersey City's Monmouth, Coles Street
The murals would be on four walls on an underpass on each street.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City has no plans to stop its beautification initiative and four new murals could be the newest additions to the city wall's growing collection.
Four small murals are proposed on a wall under an overpass on Monmouth and Coles Street. The City Council will vote Thursday on a resolution for the execution of a right-of-entry agreement that would make the proposed murals a reality.
The walls are owned by Newport Associates Development Company, Revetment Property and Embankment Property. The resolution would allow the city to work with the companies and partner to paint murals on the walls and further the beautification program.
