Cajun Seafood Restaurant Hook & Reel Coming To Jersey City

Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar features authentic New Orleans-style seafood. Customers can pick their 'catch,' sauce and level of spice.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar is coming to Jersey City.

The restaurant is coming to the Twin City Shopping Center at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and 53rd Street. No opening date was provided.

Hook & Reel serves authentic New Orleans-style seafood made with Cajun seasonings, garlic, and lemon. Customers can pick their "catch," sauce, and level of spicing.

"Hook & Reel is a great fit for this property," said E.J. Moawad with Levin Management Corp., who arranged the lease. "Hook & Reel will be a significant traffic generator and contribution to Twin City's overall appeal and destination atmosphere."

The Twin City Shopping Center has several fast food dining options: Taco Bell, Popeye's, Wendy's, and Dunkin'.

Hook & Reel launched its first location in Maryland in 2013. It has a growing presence in New Jersey. There is one location in West Orange and five more coming soon to the Garden State.
