JERSEY CITY, NJ — Happy Monday, Jersey City! There are plenty of events happening around the city this week, so Patch rounded up a list of the important dates to remember, so you don't miss the fun!

City Meetings

  • Monday: Council Caucus meeting. Virtual from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Monday: Historic Preservation meeting. Virtual from 6:30 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
  • Wednesday: City Council meeting. Virtual from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Events

  • Monday: The Supermoon Show – Join Us Live!
    • Join us LIVE for an online Facebook preview of Liberty Science Center’s amazing planetarium shows! Be there April 26 at 5 p.m. ET for Planetarium Online: The Supermoon Show! In this free, virtual program, streamed on Liberty Science Center’s Facebook page, you’ll join our planetarium presenter for a preview of the supermoon on Tuesday night and get all the details on what to look for.
  • Tuesday: Author Chat with Tae Keller
    • Tae Keller will discuss her book, "The Science of Breakable Things." When Natalie's science teacher suggests that she enter an egg drop competition, she thinks it could be the perfect solution to all of her problems.
  • Friday: Drive-In Movie Night Series: The Goonies
    • In partnership with Mack-Cali, JCFamilies, and Councilman Solomon, the Exchange Place Alliance is inviting you to an outdoor Drive-In Movie Night Series!
