JERSEY CITY, NJ — It is the last weekend young paleontologists can try to find some dinosaur bones in the city.
The Liberty Science Center's Jack Horner's Dino Dig invites kids to dig through 35 tons of sand to find more than 60 fossils. Many of the fossils are replicas of those Jack Horner found in Montana, the paleontologist who inspired "Jurassic Park."
A 6-foot-long Triceratops skull, T-rex bones and teeth, and an egg nest with a baby Maiasaura are some things that someone may find while digging.
