HCPO Investigating Fatal Jersey City Shooting On Princeton Avenue
A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Monday night just before 11:30 p.m.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A man was shot and killed on Princeton Avenue on Monday night, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
The man was identified as 23-year-old Emmanuel Garcia, according to the HCPO.
The HCPO and Jersey City police are investigating the fatal shooting that happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Monday. The shooting happened on Princeton Avenue and Brown Place. Garcia had several gunshot wounds and was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
