UNION CITY, NJ — A walk-up vaccine clinic in Union City will be open to Hudson County residents on Saturday.

The clinic will be set up between 31st and 32nd Streets between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. with residents having the option to be vaccinated with either the Johnson and Johnson or Moderna vaccine. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is one shot and the Moderna vaccine is two shots — the second dose will be scheduled during resident's first dose visit.

“Since becoming more readily available, Hudson County has worked closely with our municipal partners to ensure this lifesaving vaccine is easily accessible to all of our residents,” said Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise. “Whether that means setting up vaccination clinics in our County parks or arranging vaccination opportunities with local community groups, we are going to continue our efforts to get Hudson vaccinated by any means possible. I thank Mayor Stack for his partnership and remind everyone to trust the science and do their part to put an end to this pandemic.”
