Jersey City Library Expands In-Person Services

Patrons will be able to return materials at Gardner Main, Five Corners, Heights, Morgan, Cunningham, Miller and Pavonia.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Jersey City Free Public Library is expanding in-person services starting on June 1.

Starting June 28, patrons will have the chance to enter the library for limited in-person browsing. The library will also expand access to public computers in early June.

The expansion allows patrons more opportunities to return library materials at seven different locations from Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m.– 5:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. The libraries included in that timeframe are as follows:

  • Heights

  • Cunningham
  • Miller
  • Pavonia

Returns at three other branches will be accepted from Monday through Friday, from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The libraries included in that timeframe are as follows:

  • Marion
  • Lafayette
  • West Bergen Branches
