Jersey City Makes WalletHub List Of Best Places To Raise A Family

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City made it in the top 100 on WalletHub's list of the best cities to raise a family. Jersey City ranked at 81 out of more than 180 U.S. cities on WalletHub's list.

Jersey City's overall ranking was 52.94 with a ranking of 158 in the category of family fun, 29th in health and safety and 14 in education and childcare and 130 in affordability.

WalletHub compared more than 180 U.S. cities based on 48 key metrics that consider essential family dynamics, such as the cost of housing, the quality of local school and health-care systems, and the opportunities for fun and recreation.

Jersey City has been topping several lists this year and was recently placed in the top 100 list for best places to live by Niche.
