Jersey City Movies In The Park: What's Playing?

This week's 'Movies in the Park' will be hosted at Thomas McGovern Park.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — What's better than hitting the park on a warm summer night? Movies in the park on a warm summer night, that's what. Jersey City is bringing the movies right to you and this week's Movies in the Park event will be in the Thomas McGovern Park.

This week's 'Movies in the Park' will be hosted at Thomas McGovern Park. 'Scoob' is this week's movie, perfect for the kids. The program is sponsored by the Jersey City Municipal Council and the Office of Cultural Affairs and the Jersey City Parks Coalition. Throughout the summer, from June through August, movies will play in alternating parks across Jersey City.

The free program offers movies for all ages. Residents are encouraged to grab blankets and chairs and cozy up with the family for movies in the park.
