Jersey City Public Library Expands To In-Person Browsing
You'll soon be able to walk into the library and browse around for your favorite book — in person!
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Library lovers rejoice, in-person browsing is coming back to Jersey City Public Libraries soon.
The library announced in its newsletter that it will expand services on Monday to limited in-person browsing. Along with in-person browsing, several other services were rolled out alongside it:
- 45-minute sessions on public access computers
- printing
- photocopying
- scanning and faxing
- 15-minute browsing
- checkouts, and renewals returns, and more.
Indoor seating, in-person gatherings, reading, and studying are still unavailable.

Expanded in-person services will be available at Priscilla Gardner Main Library, Miller Branch, Morgan Branch, Pavonia Branch, Heights Branch, Cunningham Branch, Five Corners Branch on Monday - Thursday from 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and at West Bergen Branch, Lafayette Branch and Marion Branch on Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. -4:30 pm.
