Jersey City Restaurant Roundup: What's Opening Near You?

Several new restaurants opened or announced an opening soon in the city.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City's restaurant scene is always growing and changing. Patch wants to help you keep up with all the new establishments to try.

In the last week, four new restaurants have either opened or announced their opening. Here they are and a little description — eat on foodies!

New French Restaurant Open In Jersey City Heights

A new French restaurant opened in Jersey City's Heights. Box Café opened at 115 Palisade Ave. and is owned by a longtime Jersey City couple. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, dinner platters and an array of desserts from chocolate croissants to double layer cakes.

New Taiwanese Dessert Shop To Open In Jersey City's Newport

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese chain offering a variety of desserts and milk teas — the franchise will open inside Newport Tower at 525 Washington Boulevard. Signage at the location is already on the windows.

Chipotle Coming To Jersey City Waterfront

Jersey City is getting its third Chipotle restaurant soon. Signage is up at 30 Montgomery on Jersey City's waterfront for the Mexican chain. The location used to house B. Good, a healthy "farm-to-table" fast casual restaurant.

New Orleans-Inspired Restaurant Comes To McGinley Square

The flavors of New Orleans will be settling into McGinley Square in Jersey City soon. A new restaurant called Krewe has set up shop at 673 Bergen Avenue. A hard opening date has not yet been released, but signs for the establishment read "Spring 2021."
