Jersey City Teachers Union Blood Drive Will Honor Mussab Ali

Board of Education President Mussab Ali is battling Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Jersey City Education association is calling on the community to come out and give blood on Thursday in honor of Board of Education President Mussab Ali.

Ali announced in March that he is battling Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and undergoing chemotherapy. He continues to attend board meetings and serve in the Board of Education — he is also a Harvard Law School student.

The drive is scheduled for 12 to 5 p.m. on Thursday at 1600 Kennedy Boulevard. The event is by appointment, which can be booked online.
