Jersey City Woman Arrested On Arson Charges In Neptune Ave Fire
The Neptune Avenue building fire displaced 33 residents.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A Jersey City woman was charged in connection to the four-alarm building fire that displaced 33 residents on Neptune Avenue last week.
Diane Stiles, 62, of Jersey City, was charged with aggravated arson, among other things.
The fire happened on June 17 just before 10 p.m. on Neptune Avenue between Old Bergen Road and Ocean Avenue. When firefighters got to the scene, they saw the flames working up a six-family building on Neptune Avenue — a second building nearby was also damaged by the fire, according to the HCPO. The second building was also a six-family building. A third building sustained surface damage from the fire.

The fire was reported under control at 11:20 p.m. No injuries of civilians or firefighters were reported.
