Jersey City's Central Avenue Updates Continue
Construction is working from North Street to Congress Street.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — The Central Avenue Streetscape project is progressing down between North Street and Congress Street this week.
The Central Avenue Special Improvement District tweeted before and after photos of this week's progress, showcasing new storefront art and freshly re-paved sidewalks. More construction is scheduled to move down the avenue from Griffth to Hutton Street next week.

The project started between 2012 and 2013 and has included the improvements to 21 intersections along Central Avenue, the addition of trash cans, trees and new paving along sidewalks.
