East Orange Man Dies In Overnight Jersey City Shooting
The man was found shot in the torso.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A man died in a shooting on Merseles Street in Jersey City on Friday morning.
The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office identified the man as Stebbin Drew, 37, of East Orange.
Police were called to City Crossings Apartments parking lot where they found Crew, lifeless, with gunshot wounds to his torso, according to the HCPO. He was pronounced dead at approximately 2:15 a.m. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The HCPO and Jersey City police are investigating the shooting as a homicide, making it the 10th homicide in the city this year. Hudson County has seen 13 homicides in 2021.
