New Orleans-Inspired Restaurant Comes To McGinley Square
Krewe is the New Orleans-inspired restaurant set to come to 673 Bergen Avenue.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — The flavors of New Orleans will be settling into McGinley Square in Jersey City soon.
A new restaurant called Krewe has set up shop at 673 Bergen Avenue. A hard opening date has not yet been released, but signs for the establishment read "Spring 2021."
According to Jersey City Digs, the restaurant is the brain child of Jersey City-based actress and filmmaker Hank Morris and chef Anthony Tamburro, a husband and wife duo. The space on Bergen Avenue used to house Honey Bakery.

The restaurant gave an inaugural sampling of its food at this past weekend's Jersey City Mural Festival.
Krewe is a term for a social club, many of which are involved in Mardi Gras parades.
