New Taiwanese Dessert Shop To Open In Jersey City's Newport

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City is getting a new dessert spot in Newport.

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese chain offering a variety of desserts and milk teas — the franchise will open inside Newport Tower at 525 Washington Boulevard. Signage at the location is already on the windows.

The Meet Fresh franchise has one other location in New Jersey in Edison.

On the shop's menu are egg pudding, and egg waffles along with sweet/warm soups, mung bean cakes, mochi and milk teas. A hard opening date has not been released.
