NJCU Hosts Community Coronavirus Testing
The event is open to the public and will take place on Friday from noon to 4 p.m. on campus.
JERSEY CITY, NJ — Community COVID-19 testing will be available at New Jersey City University on Friday.
NJCU is working with the New Jersey Department of Health and Clinical Staffing Solutions to offer COVID-19 PCR testing. The event will be from noon to 4 p.m. on the NJCU main campus. This testing event will be contactless and will employ a saliva collection and PCR test to determine infection with a rapid turnaround time; results are typically emailed by the next morning.
Pre-registration is recommended and can be done online.

Anyone who doesn't pre-register will be offered a test on a first-come, first-serve basis. Be prepared to present a copy of your insurance card at the testing site; those without insurance will still be offered a COVID-19 test.
Testing will be available on the second floor of the Gilligan Student Union Building on campus. Free parking will be provided in the NJCU garage, located on Culver Avenue, between John F. Kennedy Blvd. and West Side Avenue.
