Officials Still Looking For Man Wanted In Fatal Bayonne Stabbing
Hudson County officials need the public's help finding Elvis Santana, 30, of Bayonne, who was charged in March in a fatal stabbing.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man who was charged in the March murder of a 29-year-old Bayonne man.
Police are looking for Elvis Santana, 30, of Bayonne. Santana was charged in March in relation to the death of Mathew Mortimer who was found with several stab wounds to his body in the vestibule of 1095 Avenue C in Bayonne. Authorities believe that Santana is in the New York/New Jersey metro area.
Santana faces several charges including murder and possession of a weapon.

The stabbing happened on March 2 when Bayonne police were called to 1095 Avenue C between 53rd and 54th Streets. Police found Mortimer in the vestibule with several stab wounds, and he was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center where he died of his injuries, according to the HCPO.
Officials warned that anyone who sees Santana should not approach him, but should immediately contact police.
