Pacific Ave Closures Remain As Sewer Main Replacement Continues
Ash Street to Bramhall Avenue will be temporarily closed for sewer main replacement.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Driver's in Jersey City beware, Pacific Avenue closures are not over yet.
The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority is planning to replace the water and sewer mains in Pacific Avenue from Ash Street to Bramhall Ave to prevent future flooding.
Tuesday, Pacific is closed between Johnston Avenue & Ash Street.

Traffic will be allowed intermittently, but drivers are still asked to plan for alternate routes and follow all detour signage.
The replacement project is happening in phases and the first phase closes Pacific Avenue from Ash Street to Johnson Avenue, the second phase closes from Johnson Avenue to Communipaw Avenue and the last phase closes from Communipaw Avenue to Bramhall Avenue.
