Police Standoff In Jersey City's 3rd Street Ends With No Arrest

Police braced for a hostage situation, but it turned out to be a "sick call."

JERSEY CITY, NJ — A heavy police scene on 3rd Street in Jersey City on Wednesday ended with no arrests.

According to NJ.com, police swarmed 3rd Street on Wednesday morning expecting a hostage situation, but later determined it was a sick call. Jersey City and Port Authority police were at the scene.
