Shot For Shot: Jersey City Cafes Offer Free Espresso For Vaccines

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Jersey City coffee shops are coming together to encourage residents to get vaccinated.

A new initiative called "Get your shot to get a shot" promotes vaccination in the city by offering a free espresso shot. Seven Jersey City coffee shops are offering free espresso shots for people who get vaccinated. The offer is valid through July 31.

The participating coffee shops are:

• Angel Azul, 460 Central Avenue
• Cocoa Bakery, 475 Central Avenue
• Griot Café, 398 Central Avenue
• Unica Café, 454 Central Avenue
• Dulce De Leche, 376 Central Avenue
• Treehouse Coffee Shop, 434A Westside Avenue
• Crema, 1 Duncan Avenue
