Sign up for a library card and receive a Father's Day Craft. Craft supplies are limited and will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

Father's Day celebration is honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.

Movies in the Park

Temperatures are set to heat up by Friday, just in time for a warm movie night in one of Jersey City's parks. This week's 'Movies in the Park' will be hosted at City Hall Plaza on Friday. Toy Story 4 is this week's movie, perfect for the kids.

Saturday 6/19

Juneteenth Celebrations In Jersey City

In Jersey City, a festival will be held at Berry Lane park on June 19 and several community events are planned in the days leading up to the holiday. Starting on Wednesday, the library will host a virtual conversation about the history of the holiday. The conversation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. on Facebook Live. The Marian Branch of the library is offering Juneteenth crafts to do at home as well.

Jersey City, NJ: Virtual Esophageal Cancer Walk/Run

The 2021 Virtual Esophageal Cancer Walk/Run is hosted by The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation. Participants can decide if they would like to walk/run either on will take place on Saturday, June 19 or Sunday, June 20.

GO Jersey City

Go Jersey City is a day of service and fun where residents of Downtown Jersey City, and beyond, go out and serve organizations and parks throughout the city. It is a way for us to give back and support the people and places that make our city great.
