On May 27, at 5 p.m., join Reena Rock for a socially distanced beginner guitar class in Canco Park for ages ten and up. Bring a picnic blanket and a guitar. Weather permitting, this event will happen weekly at Canco Park. Join in person or tune in on Facebook!

Fun Fridays!

In his high-energy “Active Mic: Mental Health Through Music” presentation, Kai Roberts tells the story of his battle with panic attacks and Generalized Anxiety Disorder through interactive dialogue and hip-hop music. The audience will be engrossed in the origins of his anxiety, gradually taking the journey into his emotions through his disorder, and into his recovery. Be prepared for good music, meaningful messages, and an overall good time.

Culture Tree Storytime Series: Kite Festivals in India

Springtime breezes are perfect for flying kites, so soar into this program and learn all about India's colorful Kite Festival. This program will include readings by authors Mona Sehgal and Shweta Aggarwal, who present their Kite Festival-inspired stories. In addition to a talk with NYC-based illustrator Kavita Rajput who shares ideas about becoming an artist.
