Ned Ryerson Band Performs Energetic Set For Holiday Weekend

The Ned Ryerson Band played a very inspired set at the Tiki Bar at Captain's Inn over the weekend.

We knew the strong party venues were going to be packed on Labor Day weekend and the Tiki Bar at the Captain's Inn definitely proved this point. This was especially true of Saturday night when the Ned Ryerson Band joined the festivities at this 304 East Lacey Road location in Forked River. Voted the #1 Jersey Shore Bar Band in 2016, it appeared as if they were trying to win the title again.

Ripping through songs that included "Brown Eyed Girl," "Summer Of 69," "Faith," "Chicken Fried" and "The Joker," they kept the crowd dancing, raising their glasses and simply having a good time throughout all of their sets. Ned, who handles guitar and vocal duties, proved why he refers to himself as the "tallest musician on the Jersey Shore" when he took his performance into the crowd a few times.

The Ned Ryerson Band primarily consists of Ned, Jannah Tabbacchino (vocals), Tony Genovese (drums), Phil Kahn (bass) and Dodge Sans on lead guitar. I know Sans to be a prolific guitar teacher and a former member of numerous bands. You can find out more about the Ned Ryerson Band by logging on to www.nedryersonlive.com. Ryerson will be performing solo on Saturday, September 7, at the Terrace Tavern in Beach Haven and on Saturday, September 14, at McIntyres Pub in Toms River. He will be with the full band at the Lighthouse Tavern in Waretown on Friday, September 6.
