2 People Pose As Health Employees To Get Into Home: Lawrence Cops

Two people posing as Lawrence health employees attempted to enter a home in the area of Fieldsboro Drive Monday.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Lawrence Township police are warning residents about a scam involving two people who attempted to enter a home while falsely claiming to be with the township health department.

Two people posing as Lawrence Township Health Department employees attempted to enter a home in the area of Fieldsboro Drive on Monday, police said on Tuesday.

The homeowner was suspicious, didn’t let them in the home and contacted police. No employees are currently going door-to-door, police said on Tuesday. Township employees also have badges that identify themselves.
