LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — As of Monday, there were 362 cases of the coronavirus identified among Lawrence Township residents, according to data posted online by the state. A total of 322 of those cases come from Lawrence Township's nursing homes.

The following information is available about cases at Lawrence Township’s long-term care facilities, as of Monday:

  • St. Lawrence Rehab Center: 47 resident cases, 12 staff cases, 0 deaths;
  • Clover Meadows Healthcare and Rehab Center: 54 resident cases with 21 deaths, 23 staff cases with no deaths; and
  • St. Joseph’s Morris Hall: 120 resident cases with 32 deaths, 66 staff cases with no deaths.

On Monday, Gov. Phil Murphy pointed to the findings of researchers and epidemiologists from the group "Covid Act Now" that has determined three states — New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts — are the only ones on track to contain the coronavirus.
