$800 Worth of Michael Kors Handbags Reported Stolen at DSW

Lawrence Township Police are investigating a theft at the DSW in the Mercer Mall that occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 13. 

According to reports, it was 5:23 p.m. when an employee noticed a 19-21 year old female customer who was holding six Michael Kors purses and standing by the front door. The employee asked the woman if she needed assistance, but the woman declined. The employee said the woman was talking on her cell phone and as soon as the employee walked away, the woman ran out of the store towards Office Max- with the handbags. 

The employee ran after the woman, but couldn't find her. 

The six bags are valued at a total of $779.94. 

Det. Laux is investigating and surveillance video is being reviewed.
