Annual Stream Clean-Up to be Held April 20
The event, which will focus on the area surrounding Colonial Lake, is sponsored by Lawrence Township Environmental Resources and Sustainability Green Advisory Committee and the Stony Brook–Millstone Watershed Association.
The Lawrence Township Environmental Resources and Sustainability Green Advisory Committee and the Stony Brook–Millstone Watershed Association will conduct their Seventh Annual Stream Clean-Up of the area surrounding Colonial Lake from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20.
Anyone wishing to participate and help keep the neighborhood clean should meet at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of Colonial Lake Park. Groups of 10 or more are asked to pre-register with Erin Stretz at (609) 737-3735 extension 17 or emccollum@thewatershed.org.
Participants should wear boots, gloves and clothing with long sleeves. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
