Two roads in Lawrence Township are closed due to downed trees and wires, police said on Monday.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two roads in Lawrence Township are closed due to downed trees and wires, police said on Monday.
Carter Road is closed between Van Kirk Road and Route 206 due to trees and wires down, Lawrence Township police said Monday afternoon.
Province Line Road is also closed in both directions between Carson Road and Rosedale Road due to wires down.

Rain has fallen across the state on Monday, and a tornado watch remains in effect until 6 p.m. Monday evening.
As of 4:45 p.m. Monday, there were 299 PSE&G customers in Mercer County without power, and fewer than five JCP&L customers in the county didn't have power, according to the electric companies. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch Monday for most of New Jersey.
