Children's Book Author Visits Eldridge Park School

Julia Cook, an award winning children's author, visited Eldridge Park School in Lawrence on Wed. Dec. 11.  

Cook has written more than 50 children's books focusing on life/social skills and character development.  

At an all-school assembly, Cook read some of her books and shared her own experiences about the writing and publishing process using a kid-friendly approach.  The children were excited and engaged throughout the entire presentation.

Special thanks to Mrs. Trisha Burns, guidance counselor at Eldridge Park, for choosing this wonderful author and EPS PTO for funding this fantastic experience.
