Format Change In Place For Mercer County Wrestling Tournament
The tournament will take place in one day as opposed to the traditional two-day format, according to nj.com.

Teams participating in next weekend’s Mercer County wrestling tournament will reportedly face a new format.
The tournament has typically been held over the course of two days, but this year’s tournament has been reduced to just one day, Saturday, Jan. 26, at Robbinsville High School, according to nj.com.
That means the elimination of one round of consolation matches. Third and fourth place will now be determined by a single match between semifinal round losers, while anyone who loses up to and including the quarterfinals will compete for fifth-place. This will greatly impact team scoring, and add greater value to the quarterfinal round results.
