Here’s How Much Snow Mercer County Got Tuesday Morning

Some parts of the state recorded 32 inches of snowfall.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The second winter storm, and first of 2021, left much of New Jersey covered in snow Tuesday morning. Some parts of the state recorded 32 inches of snowfall.

Public offices and schools across Mercer County towns remained closed on Monday.

County government offices will remain closed on Tuesday, because of weather conditions.

All branches of the Library System, Park Commission, Offices of the Clerk and Surrogate, County Connection, One-Stop Career Center and the Mercer County administration building will remain closed.

The Mercer County Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the storm, and all essential emergency functions such as road maintenance and law enforcement will continue.

All COVID-19 vaccine appointments were cancelled throughout the state, and facilities were closed at the mega sites.

Gov. Phil Murphy was expected to provide updates on the nor'easter during an 11 a.m. news conference on Tuesday. The state remained under a State of Emergency on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued snow totals (in inches). Here are the totals for Mercer County:

  • Princeton 11.0 in
  • Hamilton Twp 10.3 in
  • Robbinsville Twp. 8.2 in
  • East Windsor Twp 10.1 in
  • Ewing 10 in
  • Hopewell 8.8 in
