LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Lawrence Township Public School district paid principals and administrators less than the median statewide salary, according to recent state data for the 2020-21 school year.
After delays caused by the pandemic, New Jersey recently released new information that shows how much your school district budgeted to pay principals, superintendents and administrators in 2020.
The median statewide salary is $128,052. Lawrence Township pays principals and administrators a median salary of $126,432, which although is the 10th highest in Mercer County, comes in at 248th place statewide.

In Mercer County, Ewing Township pays its principals and administrators the most — $150,361, while the Mercer County Special Services School District pays the least — $91,755.
