Lawrence Basketball Teams Competing In Holiday Tournaments

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — The holiday season is not just a time for giving, being grateful and celebrating; it’s also a time for high school basketball. There are a number of holiday tournaments coming up during the holidays, and both the boys and girls basketball teams from Lawrence Township will be participating.

Both teams will be competing in the John Molinelli Tournament, beginning on Wednesday, Dec. 27. Both teams will play Voorhees on that day, with the boys game coming at 2 p.m. and the girls game tipping off at 4 p.m. Hopewell Valley and Pennington will also participate in the tournaments, with the girls playing at 2 p.m. and the boys playing at 4 p.m.

Lawrence is hosting the girls tournament, while the boys will compete at Hopewell Valley. Both tournaments conclude on Thursday, Dec. 28, with the championship games scheduled for 4 p.m., preceded by the consolation games at 2 p.m.
