LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Lawrence High School football team begins its playoff quest on the road Friday night.
Lawrence is the No. 8 seed in NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3, according to the playoff bracket posted on nj.com.
Lawrence (5-4) will visit No. 1 seed Rumson-Fair Haven (7-1) in the quarterfinals on Friday night, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. The winner will face the winner of the game between No. 4 Steinert (5-3) and No. 5 Wall (4-4) in the semifinals Nov. 17.

Somerville (8-1) is the No. 2 seed in the group and will host No. 7 Ewing (4-5). The winner will face the winner of the game between No. 3 Monmouth (6-3) and No. 6 Carteret (4-4) in the semifinals.
The championship game is scheduled for Nov. 30, time and location to be determined.
