Lawrence Rabies Clinic Scheduled For Oct. 3

This will be a drive –thru clinic due to the ongoing pandemic.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Lawrence Township Health Department will host a free rabies clinic for pets on Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

This will be a drive –thru clinic due to the ongoing pandemic, and is open to Lawrence Township residents only.

The town has implemented new procedures and social distancing guidelines. In accordance with the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association and New Jersey Department of Health recommendations, no owner will be allowed to accompany their pet into the building for the vaccination.

There will be a separate time for dogs to arrive, a separate time for cats and a different time slot for pet owners to bring both dogs and cats together. All dogs must be on a secure leashes no longer than 6 feet. Cats must be in suitable carriers to prevent escape. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes Sep. 25 at 3 p.m.
