Here's a partial list of summer camps happening around Lawrenceville this year.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - After a year when too many traditions have had to be canceled for coronavirus safety, summer camps for kids are back on this year. The state has issued updated guidance on how these camps can safely operate during the coronavirus pandemic.

There are several options to keep the kids busy this summer, including town-sponsored camps, arts camps, sports camps, and more.

ESF Summer Camp: This year, the ESF summer camp celebrates 30 years in the Princeton and Lawrenceville community. The 2021 summer program is filled with fun activities. Sports, technology, art, coding, and more — there is something for each child. Camp begins June 21 to August 20.

Boys and Girls Club of Mercer County: This is one of the popular summer camps in the county. The 2021 Summer Enrichment Camp is offered to children and teens. All programs are tailored according to age groups. The camp offers arts & crafts, nature, STEM, nutrition, academic support, social-emotional learning/character development, and more. Scholarships are also available.

JCC Abrams Camps: Located in East Windsor, the JCC Abrams camps provide participants with a fun summer experience. Sports, skill-building, performing arts, STEM - there is much to choose from. The JCC Abrams Camps creates "a lifelong love of Jewish learning and culture."

Camp Cherry Valley: Located in Cheery Valley Country Club in Skillman, the summer camps offer exciting programs and experiences for participants. The day begins with Hello Camp, a morning meeting where through organized activities, campers and staff get to know each other, review the day’s schedule and sing special camp songs. Similarly, the day ends with Goodbye Camp, a time for wrap-up activities and reflections, snacks, and more. Activities at the camp include golf, tennis, swimming, arts & crafts, martial arts, food, science projects, and more.

Camp YMCA at Rider University: Held in collaboration with Rider University, YMCA brings a host of fun activities for its summer camp. Students from diverse backgrounds from Mercer and Bucks county participate in the camps, providing students with a rich and unique experience. Swimming, sports, pottery, STEM — there's a lot to choose from.

International Ivy Summer Enrichment Program: The 2021 summer cap will be held virtually and in-person. Classes are small, and children get to enjoy a host of activities.

Rambling Pines: One of the best parts about the Rambling Pines Day Camp is it provides door-to-door busing for kids. New campers receive a discount of $25 per week, and siblings get 10 percent off on tuition. The 2021 season begins June 28 through Aug. 20.

Arts Council of Princeton Summer Camp: The Arts Council of Princeton is offering online and in-person camps this summer. The camps will run for 11 weeks, beginning June 21 to Sep. 3. Tweens and teens can learn various art forms like painting, sculpting, pottery, and more. Scholarships are also available. You can email education@artscouncilofprinceton.org with any questions.
