Lawrenceville Man Killed In Newark Shooting: Police
Anthony M. McGriff, 34, was fatally shot in Newark on Monday.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A Lawrenceville man was shot and killed in Newark on Monday, authorities said.
Anthony M. McGriff, 34, was shot on the 100 block of Prince Street in Newark, around 4:23 p.m. on Monday, according to Essex County Prosecutor.
McGriff was pronounced dead shortly after at an area hospital. No arrests have been made, acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephen, II, and Newark Public Safety Director Brian O’Hara said in a statement.

The fatal shooting is being investigated by the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force.
