Lawrenceville School Advances In Mercer County Girls Soccer Tournament
Lawrenceville will visit top-seeded Hopewell Valley on Thursday.
Lawrenceville, NJ -- Grace Xiong scored three goals to lead the Lawrenceville School girls soccer team to a 5-2 win over West-Windsor Plainsboro South in the play-in game of the Mercer County tournament on Tuesday, according to nj.com.
Maddy Matthews had two goals, and Ashley Chun added an assist. Goalie Callie Durso-Finley made three saves in the win.
Lawrenceville will now visit top-seeded Hopewell Valley in the first round of the tournament on Thursday. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Saturday, with the semifinals on Monday and the championship game on Oct. 27.
