Lawrenceville Students Named Finalists In All-American High School Film Festival
Their movie will be screened at the Times Square AMC in New York City.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Two seniors at The Lawrenceville School have been named finalists at the All-American High School Film Festival in New York City.
Azam Janmohamed and Elias Salander will have their documentary, "Forgotten: Karachi, Pakistan," screened at the Times Square AMC movie theater in New York City as part of the festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, 3 p.m. in Theatre 13, Fourth Floor. The theater is located at 234 West 42nd Street in New York City.
They created the movie with support from a Lawrenceville School Welles Grant, according to the school's website. The documentary explores the factors that inhibit Pakistani children from obtaining an adequate education.
