Lauded as being one of Lawrence's star football and track athletes, Riggins is much more than his sporting accomplishments. He is a three-year member of DECA, the competitive business club, and as vice-president this year he spearheaded the campaign to help raise money for a school in Ecuador through the Brick by Brick program.

In the classroom, Riggins consistently challenged himself by taking several advanced placement courses.
