LHS Students Named Finalists in Photo Contest

Lawrence High School senior Aaron Wilson-Watson and junior Julia Gromek will have their work published in "Best of College and High School Photography 2013."

Lawrence High School senior Aaron Wilson-Watson and junior Julia Gromek have been selected as finalists in Photographer's Forum magazine's 33rd Annual College and High School Photography Contest, sponsored by Nikon, USA.

As finalists, Gromek and Wilson-Watson will have their selected works published in the hardcover book, "Best of College and High School Photography 2013."

Over 16,700 photographs were received from students in the United States and around the world. College and high school entries were judged separately, and finalists will be featured in two sections of the book.

Images awarded first through fourth place in both divisions will also be published in the May/Summer 2013 issue of Photographer's Forum magazine and those students will be inducted into the Nikon's Emerging Photographers Hall of Fame.
