The Math portion of the night focused on educational games that emphasized mathematics, such as chess, long jumping, and cutting of shapes and patterns.Â
There was also a presentation by Rick Dutko of the Lawrence Nature Center. He taught the children on how to determine the age of a tree with a actual tree stump and entertained all of us with his knowledge of bats.
