As of Tuesday, 46,451 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered to Mercer County residents — 33,096 first doses and 13,555 second doses.

County officials say about 12 percent of Mercer adults have received the vaccine so far. Although not enough, county officials say they continue to push the state to give them more doses.

Last week's inclement weather saw many vaccine sites across the state close. But Mercer County sites were open on appointment.
